Oh... At least I tried Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V and Mouse-Left (Mark)/Mouse Middle (Paste)
and the context menus.

I'm using neither Ubuntu standard (I don't like Unity) nor Gnome or KDE, I'm
only using XFCE at this time. Maybe it's a problem with this environment?
